Description Project :
This project aims to detect myopia (short-sightedness) among Tahfiz school students. Myopia is one of the obstacles which affect student achievement. Vision screening and eye exams will be carried out among the students during the project. Ophthalmologists will share their expertise in myopia detection with the teachers at the Tahfiz school so that the teachers will also be able to detect myopia among students in the long term. Students who require further treatment will be referred to the hospital and those who have myopia will be advised to wear spectacles.
